The company The founder journey

My expertise is based on 21 years of experience in companies, in France and abroad, deeply marked by R&D and innovation, as a manager, manager of managers and today as expert consultant.  


My professional journey started in 1997 and has taken me to increasingly high responsibility positions within large innovative companies  (UNILEVER, SARA LEE, IFF...) in United Kingdom (LIVERPOOL, BERKSHIRE), Unites States of America(HAZLET, NEW JERSEY) and in France in Grasse world perfumery capital  city. 



Graduate of a professionnel master specialised in chemistry applied in cosmetics science (DESS - IPIL LYON) and of a PhD in physical chemistry (FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING – MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY) my career started in 1997 in United Kingdom with UNILEVER RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT PORT SUNLIGHT LABORATORY. 


UNILEVER R&D  in Port Sunlight is the global center of innovation for Home Care and Beauty & Personal Care products.  Important research programs are conducted there to support the international brands growth like Dove, Sunsilk, TRESemmé, Rexona, Axe, Comfort, Dirt is Good, Surf, Signal, Domestos.  For a period of 8 years, as a chemistry scientist I can find in this place an amazing pool of resources and inspiration.  Various R&D projects within different teams and departments give me the opportunity to strenghten my knowledge in the field of formulation chemistry and build new skills.  I am a solid contributor to patents filing and development of innovation product technologies in Oral care and Hair care departments.  I also drive a partnership reaserch project between Unilever and Manchester University.   


2006
I join SARA LEE HOUSEHOLD & BODYCARE UK in Slough.The company is specialised in the development, manufacturing and marketing of international brands of skincare and homecare products such as Brylcreem, Radox, Sanex, Ambi-Pur. I am R&D project manager for the hair styling brand BRYLCREEM. There, I benefit from working closely with other departments related to new product development. I build knowledge and understanding from internal and external interactions with people bearing different cultures and sharing different visions. 

2008
I leave England and travel to theUnited States (New Jersey)in order to take on new technical management responsibilities in the creative center of INTERNATIONAL FLAVORS & FRAGRANCES (IFF). Thecompany is specialised in the creation, the development and the sales of aromas and perfumes. Within the technical department, in support of the creation of functional fragrances (intended for the consumer products market), I discover the challenges related to fragrance creationin this industry not so familiar to me. I am then fascinated by the technical complexity of fragrances that I quickly learn to understand and use beyond the universal glamor image of the perfume.

2011
I return to France in Paris area after living 14 years abroad. INTERNATIONAL FLAVORS & FRAGRANCES (IFF) give me the responsibility to build, grow and train a team of experts in chemistry and fragrance to face the increasingly complex challenges of innovation in the functional fragrances market. I am then appointedtechnical director of fragrance innovationin haircare products. I undertake, create, develop and bring to fruition ambitious innovation projects on an international scale, for 8 years.

2018
With this dense and rich professional experience in France and abroad, I feel the need to undertake and share experience acquired. I am then driven by a context of difficult tensions: competitive business, fragile profitability, pressure on resources (financial, human). To enrich my career, I undertake several training courses in order to acquire a method and tools to better understand the difficulties linked to people and to carry out innovation projects more efficiently:
